Chocolate Chip Cookies and Peanut Butter Cold Brew

When Gideon's Bakehouse first came to Disney Springs, the wait time to obtain these iconic cookies was often over 3 hours! So what is so special about this quirky sweet shop? Well, Gideon's is known for their giant cookies that are loaded with mix-ins, unique cakes, and delicious cold brew coffee. The decor is spooky and moody, making for a very unique experience each visit. Gideon's makes a variety of different types of cookies, but they are best known for the classic chocolate chip, which is loaded with 3 different sizes of chocolate chunks! After sampling these indulgent treats, we knew we couldn't wait until we were back in Orlando to have them again!

When it comes to these cookies, there is no such thing as too many chips! They are mixed into the batter, rolled on the outside, and even pressed in after baking! A little bit of salt on top rounds out the sweet profile. The key to the perfect batch is timing! These cookies are best when they are slightly underdone, making for a soft and gooey center.

Gideon's also serves up delicious coffees, with the peanut butter cold brew being the most popular. We created our own by using peanut butter powder.
