Caramel Corn inspired by Epcot's Karamelle-Küche located in the Germany Pavilion

When you make your way through the World Showcase at Epcot, one of the most prominent smells is the delicious caramel scent wafting from the Germany Pavilion! Karamell-Küche, which uses Werther’s Original caramel candies to create decadent sweets, is a must-visit. We were able to mobile order a bag of their signature snack, caramel corn! The popcorn is coated in delicious golden caramel that melts in your mouth. It is the perfect mix of sweet and salty! We just had to try our hand at making some of this addictive treat.

Ingredient prep for caramel corn

We ordered “mushroom” popcorn to get that awesome round shape, and were able to purchase Werther’s soft candies at our local dollar store! While the process takes some finesse, it is totally worth it to bring the taste of Germany to your own “caramel kitchen.”

If you put out a bowl of caramel corn at your next gathering, we're sure it won't last long! It would also make a great to-go treat for party favors! Guten appetit!
